The Boston Bruins have the commando in this series after two victories at home. The Flyers are basically forced to win this to keep it close, and it is a team that works hard for points. It has been two really close games already betwwen the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Bruins won at home with 5-4 in OT and 3-2 in the latest game. Milan Lucic scored the game winning goal with only three minutes left in the third period. That is how the games have been so far. It is close, but it all comes down to a situation in the end.
Boucher and Rask are the goalies who are expected to play in the net in this game and I consider Tuukka Rask as a better goalie. Boucher may play really good from time to time, and he made a lot of great saves against the New Jersey Devils in the first round. But he has not looked as good in the first two games in the second round.
Marco Sturm got injured in the first game and he will be gone for the rest of the season. He does not put up a lot of points but he is a hard working forward who is a good penalty killer, so it is definitely a loss for the Bruins. Instead they’ve got Marc Savard back from his injury, but he has looked kind of rusty lately, so I suppose he needs a couple of games to come back to his normal standard.
I believe the players in the Philadelphia Flyers can feel the heat at the moment, and they should have a good chance to win this game now when they are at home. The roster is full of hard working players and they will not give up in the first place. They are going to fight hard until the horn blows, to win this battle. I expect a close game anyway, just as the other two games earlier in this round, but the Flyers will go to bed as winners tonight. 4-3 to the Flyers is my bet and the game starts at 7:00 PM tonight.
